Our Vision
Tranquility at Carters Lake® is a very special place. We began developing this North Georgia property back in 2003 and the experience has been very rewarding. We now have over 50 property owners and numerous homeowners enjoying the community's 550 acres of beautiful hardwoods and fast moving mountain streams.
Carters Lake is a one-of-a-kind, man-made lake and is considered North Georgia's best kept secret. We think so and you will too. With over 3,220 acres of water, bordered by 5,000 acres of protected green space managed and maintained by the Army Corp. of Engineers, Carters Lake is not only beautiful but one of the cleanest lakes in Georgia.
Unlike other lakes in North Georgia, Carters Lake is not drawn down during the late fall and winter allowing it to maintain a constant water level all year round. This provides lake goers with maximum recreational value all year round.
